Basketball Recap: Grace Christian Academy Comes Up Short

If Grace Christian Academy was riding high fresh off their 65-21 takedown of Community Christian Academy on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars took a 62-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pataula Charter Academy Panthers on Tuesday.

Pataula Charter Academy was led to victory by Doljhai Williams and Kylon Rainey. Williams almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine boards, while Rainey shot 71% from the field en route to 14 points. Those 18 points gave Williams a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brenton Hanks, who posted seven points.

Grace Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Grace Christian Academy will take on Miller County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pataula Charter Academy, they will square off against Baker County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
