Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg is a perfect 4-0 against Sullivan since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg will be playing in front of their home fans against Sullivan at 4:30 p.m. Sullivan took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg, who comes in off a win.

Sullivan will be up against a hot Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg team: the squad just extended their winning streak to ten. Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg blew past Okaw Valley 15-2 on Friday.

Carter Verdeyen made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Verdeyen was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

In other batting news, Jackson Gurgel and Ben Bridges did most of the damage at the plate: Gurgel scored four runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5, while Bridges scored two runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Kendall Morris was another key player, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two RBI and one double.

Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .524. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Okaw Valley only posted an OBP of .357.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Sullivan's offense. They fell just short of Altamont by a score of 2-0 on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Redskins' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg's win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Sullivan, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
