Softball Recap: North Comes Up Short

North came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Gilmour Academy Lancers, falling 9-2. The Rangers have struggled against the Lancers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Maddy Ferrari was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run. Holly Mosnik also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

North's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Gilmour Academy, their record is now 8-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North will welcome Kenston at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Gilmour Academy, they will host Boardman at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
