Basketball Game Preview: Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils vs. Weatherly

The Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils are taking a road trip to square off against Weatherly at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.

Last Thursday, Shenandoah Valley lost to Tri-Valley at home by a 63-48 margin. The Blue Devils have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Weatherly hadn't done well against MMI Preparatory School recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Weatherly was the clear victor by a 63-40 margin over MMI Preparatory School. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Weatherly has posted since December 28, 2023.

Shenandoah Valley now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Weatherly, their win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3.

Shenandoah Valley came up short against Weatherly when the teams last played back in January, falling 53-40. Can Shenandoah Valley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
