Volleyball Recap: Hinsdale Central Gets the Win

Hinsdale Central won the last time they faced Proviso West and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Red Devils walked away with a 2-0 win over the Panthers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Devils.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Hinsdale Central took both sets by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-7.

Their offense was headlined by Kaleigh Kozlowski and Anna Crittenden, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Caitlin Leddy and her ten assists. Callie Degnan controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Hinsdale Central's record now sits at 14-17. As for Proviso West, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-20 record this season.

Hinsdale Central will be playing in front of their home fans against Hinsdale South at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Proviso West, they will head out on the road to face off against Hancock at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
