Softball Recap: St. Paul Central Comes Up Short

St. Paul Central lost against Simley back in May of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Minutemen fell 7-4 to the Spartans.

Noe Christensen was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

St. Paul Central has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season. As for Simley, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Paul Central will square off against St. Agnes at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Simley, they will host Tartan at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
