Agoura's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Thousand Oaks Lancers with a sharp 11-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Chargers, who have now won ten matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Aly Chavez spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on six hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Mia Gomez was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with one home run and five RBI. Another player making a difference was Amaya Del Olmo, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and two runs.

Agoura has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. As for Thousand Oaks, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Agoura will challenge rival Westlake at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Thousand Oaks is set to take on their familiar foe Calabasas at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
