Baseball Recap: Easthampton/Hampshire Eagles vs. Palmer Panthers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pioneer Valley Regional, Easthampton/Hampshire was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Everything went their way against the Palmer Panthers as the Easthampton/Hampshire Eagles made off with a 22-4 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what Easthampton/Hampshire needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.
For Palmer's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sebastian Mayberry, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
The win got Easthampton/Hampshire back to even at 1-1. As for Palmer, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
