Whiteoak entered their tilt with Lynchburg-Clay on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They rang in the new year with a 52-44 win over the Mustangs. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 64-63 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Whiteoak now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Lynchburg-Clay, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
