Volleyball Recap: Phillips Comes Up Short

Phillips lost against Hackleburg back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bears took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

Phillips' loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Hackleburg, their victory bumped their record up to 12-9.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Phillips will venture away from home to square off against Marion County at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Red Raiders will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Bears surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hackleburg, they will take on Brilliant at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
