Baseball Recap: Carnegie Takes a Loss

Carnegie lost against Waukomis on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats came up short against the Chiefs, falling 10-2. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by exactly eight runs.

Carnegie's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Waukomis, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Chiefs beat Carnegie by a score of 11-2 later that day.
