Volleyball Recap: Fossil Ridge Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Fossil Ridge, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the JSerra Catholic Lions on Saturday.

Fossil Ridge not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept JSerra Catholic between 20 and 21 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-20.

Ella Wilson paced Fossil Ridge's offense, picking up seven kills. Wilson got some help from Sarah Reinhart and her 16 assists. Alyssa Cottingham controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Fossil Ridge's win bumped their record up to 13-1. As for JSerra Catholic, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-11 record this season.
