Palmdale is 1-9 against Littlerock since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Falcons will challenge the Lobos at 3:15 p.m. Palmdale will aim to continue their five-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
Palmdale is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Antelope Valley 13-3 on Friday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Falcons with their most commanding win of the season.

Ivan Morales made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over four innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Palmdale's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 2-1 (and 5-11 when he doesn't).
In other batting news, Xavier Mejia was excellent, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Matthew Gibbons, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
Palmdale kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.3 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 9.6.
Lancaster hit Littlerock with a seven-run second inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Lobos came up short against the Eagles, falling 11-2.
Palmdale has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-12 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Littlerock, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10-1.
Palmdale might still be hurting after the 11-1 defeat they got from Littlerock when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
