Basketball Recap: Five Straight Road Victories for Temple Christian

Temple Christian had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Germantown Christian Conquerors as they made off with a 56-36 victory. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 179th, while the Conquerors are ranked 733rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the defeat, Germantown Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jonah Shreves posted eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Kroger, who earned seven points.

Temple Christian's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. As for Germantown Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-8.

Temple Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Germantown Christian, they will be playing at home against Milford Christian at 7:30 p.m. on February 4th.
