Basketball Game Preview: Durango Trailblazers vs. Silverado Skyhawks

Two dominant guards in Elijah Outlaw-Mcdaniels and Kayden Goss are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Durango Trailblazers will head out to face off against the Silverado Skyhawks at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Durango easily dispatched Spring Valley on Tuesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Durango fell just short of Foothill by a score of 58-55 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Trailblazers have suffered since February 6, 2024.

Meanwhile, Silverado didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Spring Valley on Thursday, but they still walked away with a 59-53 victory.

Durango has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season. As for Silverado, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-15.

Durango lost to Silverado on the road by a decisive 85-66 margin when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Can Durango avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
