Basketball Recap: Woodbury Central Snags Seventh Win in Last Eight Games

Woodbury Central lost to Ridge View back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Woodbury Central Wildcats enjoyed a cozy 54-40 win over the Ridge View Raptors.

Woodbury Central is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points per game. As for Ridge View, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-11 record.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Woodbury Central Wildcats face off against the Trinity Christian Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ridge View, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Harris-Lake Park on February 6th.
