It was a good run, but Hallettsville unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 52-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Columbus Cardinals. The Brahmas were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cardinals earlier this season, when they won 43-37.

Hallettsville's loss dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Columbus, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-7.

Hallettsville will host Tidehaven at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Tidehaven will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Hallettsville surely won't give up without a fight. Columbus has already played their next matchup (against Palacios), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
