Newton South waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Archbishop Williams Bishops. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Newton South's victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Archbishop Williams, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Newton South will welcome Boston English at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight. Archbishop Williams does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
