A Season-Best Performance from Dalton Walker Leads Elkhart over Buffalo
Dalton Walker produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Elkhart to the win on Friday. Walker rushed for 218 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 69 yards.
Unfortunately for Buffalo, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Walker. Walker rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also picked up 65 receiving yards the last time he and the Bison duked it out back in October of 2023.

Trystyn Tidrow Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Elkhart got the W thanks in part to Trystyn Tidrow playing the best football he has all season. Tidrow threw for 294 yards and six touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 47 yards. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August of 2023. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making eight total tackles and defending a pass.
This season, Tidrow has thrown 12 touchdowns while averaging 174.3 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 0.43 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 21 rushing yards.

Bryce Wallum Delivers Electric Performance Vs Winona
Bryce Wallum was instrumental in extending Troup's winning streak to five on Friday. Nobody could stop Wallum as he rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also threw for 107 yards and two touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes.
Troup pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Wallum and Troup will be playing in front of their home fans against New Diana on Friday.

Davyon Mapps and Co. Win Sixth in a Row
Davyon Mapps's big game helped extend New Diana's winning streak to six on Friday. Mapps turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 145 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 112 rushing yards dating back to last season.
For the year, Mapps has run in 10 touchdowns while averaging 127.5 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 79.17 rushing yards per game.

Wells Made His Presence Known in Troup's 50-6 Victory
Brett Wells's big game helped extend Troup's winning streak to five on Friday. Wells did his part (and then some), rushing for 100 yards and a touchdown for the 'W'.
Wells must have Winona's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Wells last faced the Wildcats back in October of 2023, he rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.
