Nolen Miller spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up 11 Ks. He has become a key player for Raymond/South Bend: the team is undefeated when he posts at least ten strikeouts, but 4-11 otherwise.

Raymond/South Bend's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-11. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Mossyrock, they now have a losing record of 9-10.
