Ashe County's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 5-2 margin over the Freedom Patriots. Considering Ashe County's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Their offense was hitting Freedom from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Ashe County's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-2-1. As for Freedom, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8-1 record this season.
