Soccer Game Preview: Lafayette vs. Williston

Lafayette is 2-8 against Williston since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Lafayette Hornets will venture away from home to challenge the Williston Red Devils at 7:30 p.m.

Last Friday, Lafayette didn't have quite enough to beat Taylor County and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, Williston kept a clean sheet against Dixie County on Saturday. They blew past the Bears 8-0. The result was nothing new for the Red Devils, who have now won eight matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Williston's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-4-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 36 goals over those six contests. As for Lafayette, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6.
