Basketball Recap: St. Mary's Academy Comes Up Short

St. Mary's Academy lost against West Linn back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The St. Mary's Academy Blues took a blow against the West Linn Lions, falling 84-18. The Blues have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Linn found their leader in sophomore Kaylor Buse, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and 12 assists. The dominant performance gave Buse a new career-high in assists. Reese Jordan was another key player, going 7-for-12 en route to 14 points in addition to eight assists and seven boards.

St. Mary's Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for West Linn, they pushed their record up to 13-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

St. Mary's Academy has already played their next contest (against Oregon City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. West Linn also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Lake Oswego.
