Football Recap: Roy Royals vs. Syracuse Titans

Roy played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 37-12 to the Syracuse Titans. The Royals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2020.

Leading Syracuse to victory were Ledger Wight and Ryker Van Komen. Wight threw for 181 yards and three TDs while completing 77.3% of his passes, while Van Komen gained 175 total yards and a touchdown. Those three passing touchdowns gave Wight a new career-high. Weston Russell was in the mix too, providing Syracuse with two scores.
