Basketball Recap: General Trass Comes Up Short

General Trass was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by the Tensas Panthers 56-22. General Trass lost against Tensas in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 28-25 score last time.

Kayleigh Brooks had a dynamite game for Tensas, going 9 of 14 en route to 20 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Brooks is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Mary-Ana Carter, who went 5 for 9 on her way to 11 points and seven boards.

General Trass' defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Tensas, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.

General Trass has already played their next matchup (against Delta Charter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Tensas will venture away from home to challenge St. Frederick at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
