Lynbrook got themselves on the board against Locust Valley on Friday, but Locust Valley never followed suit. They came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 7-0. The win was familiar territory for the Owls, who have now won three contests in a row.

Lynbrook pushed their record up to 5-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.0 points on average over those games. As for Locust Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lynbrook is set to take on their familiar foe Bethpage at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Owls 13.6, the Golden Eagles 6.3) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Locust Valley will face off against rival Plainedge at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
