Softball Recap: Holt Comes Up Short

Holt lost against Tuscaloosa Academy back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Holt Ironmen lost 17-9 to the Tuscaloosa Academy Knights. The Ironmen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Holt saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Hallman, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2. Alexandria Wilder was another, scoring a run.

Holt now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Tuscaloosa Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holt will welcome Pickens County at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Tuscaloosa Academy, they will take on Fairfield at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
