Brett Bullins posted a new career-low in walks on Thursday. He did his part (and then some), striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits (and not a single walk) for the 'W'. He has become a key player for Caldwell Academy: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 4-6 otherwise.

Coming up, Bullins and Caldwell Academy will head out to face off against Wesleyan Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Caldwell Academy will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 210 places lower in North Carolina), but they're not letting that get them down.
