Baseball Recap: Chilton Takes a Loss

Chilton and Waupaca squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Chilton had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Comets by a score of 4-3. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Comets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.

Chilton's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Waupaca, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Comets beat Chilton by a score of 4-3 later that day.
