Basketball Recap: Liberty Comes Up Short

Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by the Millbrook Pioneers 75-44. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Pioneers from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Despite the loss, Liberty still got an impressive performance from Toby James, who posted 11 points and four blocks. Chimanga Mubanga was another key player, putting up eight points.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Millbrook, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Liberty has already played their next match (against Manassas Park), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Millbrook has already played their next contest, a 78-66 win against James Wood on the 15th.
