Aletheia Christian Academy barely beat Santa Rosa Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lions put the hurt on Santa Rosa Christian with a sharp 19-9 win on Friday. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Abigail Finley and Allie Reeder did most of the damage at the plate: Finley went 2-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and two stolen bases, while Reeder went 3-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That's the most runs Reeder has posted since back in March. Katelyn Davis was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Aletheia Christian Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are 3-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

The victory was the third in a row for Aletheia Christian Academy, bringing their record up to 8-8. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Santa Rosa Christian, their loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

Coming up, Aletheia Christian Academy will face off against West Florida Baptist Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Conquerors have averaged an impressive 14.2 runs per game this season. Santa Rosa Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
