Volleyball Recap: Canastota Takes a Loss

Canastota lost against Vernon-Verona-Sherrill back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Canastota Red Raiders came up short against the Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Red Devils, falling 3-0. The Red Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-16, 25-13.

Canastota now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Vernon-Verona-Sherrill, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Canastota has already played their next contest (against Oneida), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Vernon-Verona-Sherrill wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Rome Free Academy on the 21st.
