It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Yuma Catholic had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Valley Christian Trojans 3-2. The victory was nothing new for the Shamrocks as they're now sitting on eight straight.

They hit Valley Christian with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gean Lagarda, Hector Soto, and Esteban Hernandez.

Yuma Catholic pushed their record up to 18-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Valley Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-9.

Looking ahead, Yuma Catholic will square off against Gilbert Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Yuma Catholic is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.5 goals per game this season. Valley Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
