Volleyball Recap: Hershey Has No Trouble Against Loomis

The Hershey Panthers got the win against the Loomis Wolves on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

One reason for the win was Hershey's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-19, 25-12.

Ryleigh Melvin paced Hershey's offense, picking up ten kills. Melvin got some help from Demi Damoude and her 20 assists. Finally, Melvin was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

When it comes to explaining why Loomis lost, don't look at Addison Perry. Despite the final result, she had eight digs and two assists.

Hershey's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Loomis, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Hershey will challenge Sutherland on Thursday. As for Loomis, they will take on Overton on Thursday.
