            Volleyball Recap: Green River Pirates vs. Bryce Valley Mustangs        
        
		
        
        
            After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Tintic, Green River was happy to have turned things around  on Thursday. They were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Bryce Valley Mustangs. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive  win against them.
 Green River walked away with the   victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-21,  25-11.

  Rosa Barragan was the offensive standout of the  game as she  had 11  digs and two  aces. That's the most  digs  she has posted since back in October of 2024.
The  win  got Green River back to even at 1-1. As for Bryce Valley, their defeat was  their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 0-2.
 Green River and Bryce Valley will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next  matchups. The next time the Pirates see the court they'll take on Altamont  at 4:15  p.m.  on  the 29th. As for Bryce Valley, their break will end when they face Escalante  at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 27th.
