Softball Recap: Bethlehem Eagles vs. Taylor County Cardinals
It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Bethlehem ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They walked away with a 9-5 win over the Taylor County Cardinals. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 12-1 victory the Cardinals walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2025.
Amelia Lamkin made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 16 consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April.
