Lake Brantley faced Olympia in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Patriots blew past the Titans 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Patriots also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2023.

Lake Brantley never let Olympia on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-16, 25-17.

Lily Rodgers paced Lake Brantley's offense, picking up 12 kills. Rodgers got some help from Andie Bowron and her 44 assists. Finally, Olivia Sporleder kept Lake Brantley's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Despite the loss, Olympia still got an impressive performance from Eliza Perdue, who had 19 digs and four assists. Perdue is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

The victory made it two in a row for Lake Brantley and bumps their season record up to 11-7. As for Olympia, their loss ended a six-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 17-3.

Coming up, Lake Brantley is taking a road trip to square off against Lake Mary at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Olympia, they will host Celebration at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
