Altamont hadn't beaten Monticello on the road since September 15, 2017 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Longhorns walked away with a 44-37 victory over the Buckaroo. The win was nothing new for the Longhorns as they're now sitting on three straight.

Dallan Ledbetter threw for 179 yards and two touchdowns. Breyden Jessen was his top target, picking up 163 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Altamont's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Monticello, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-2.

Altamont wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 46-22 win against Monument Valley on the 13th. As for Monticello, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Norwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
