Falls City is still winless after their game against Diller-Odell on Tuesday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-52 heartbreaker at the hands of the Diller-Odell Griffin. One positive for the Tigers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Falls City's loss came despite strong showings from Keifer Adams and Paxton Armbruster. Adams went 10-for-24 to rack up 24 points, while Armbruster went 5-for-10 on his way to 15 points and four steals. That was a full 46.2% of Falls City's points, marking the third time in a row Adams has posted more than a third of the team's points. Jacoby Bangert was another key player, putting up four points and five assists.

It was another big night for Cooper Morgan, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 12 boards for Diller-Odell. Morgan also grabbed three steals, which is notable because Diller-Odell is undefeated when he posts at least three steals, but 7-9 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Peyton Humphreys, who put up eight points.

Falls City's loss dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Diller-Odell, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-9.

Falls City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 58-45 defeat against Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer on the 13th. As for Diller-Odell, they have also already played their next contest, a 73-38 loss against Exeter-Milligan/Friend on the 14th.
