Softball Recap: Biglerville Canners vs. Delone Catholic Squires
Biglerville gave up the first runs on Wednesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They walked away with a 9-6 win over the Delone Catholic Squires. The Canners haven't had any issues with the Squires recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Sydney McCleaf made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off nine hits. McCleaf was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-4. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in May of 2024.
In other batting news, Ava Peterson was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs. She also brought in an RBI, marking her first of the season. Rylie Brewer was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Biglerville pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
