Soccer Game Preview: Sebring vs. Tenoroc

Sebring is 3-0 against Tenoroc since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Sebring Blue Streaks will look to defend their home pitch against the Tenoroc Titans at 7:00 p.m. Sebring's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Sebring fell victim to Frostproof and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, the Blue Streaks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 479th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 228th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tenoroc). They never let Ridgeview Global Studies Academy onto the board and left with a 4-0 victory on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Titans needed considering they were shutout in their previous match.

Tenoroc's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-9-1. As for Sebring, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-3.

Everything went Sebring's way against Tenoroc when the teams last played back in January of 2020, as Sebring made off with a 4-0 victory. Does Sebring have another victory up their sleeve, or will Tenoroc turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
