Basketball Recap: Collinwood Starts off Right with Win over East Tech

Collinwood had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victor by a 37-11 margin over the East Tech Scarabs on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Railroaders as it spelled an end to their nine-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Despite the loss, East Tech still got an impressive performance from Nadia Pamplin, who posted nine points.

East Tech is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Collinwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 42-18 win against John Adams on the 6th. As for East Tech, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 55-19 loss against Rhodes on the 6th.
