After both having extra time off, the Oakville Acorns and the Crescent Loggers will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Oakville is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They secured a 62-57 W over Columbia Adventist Academy two weeks ago. While the Acorns didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Oakville found their leader in sophomore Ui Siufanua, who went 10 for 20 on her way to 26 points in addition to six steals and five boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Siufanua has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Boyd, who posted five points in addition to five assists and five boards.
Meanwhile, Crescent can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game two weeks ago. They came out on top against Quilcene by a score of 20-12.
Crescent's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4. As for Oakville, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.
Oakville took their victory against Crescent when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 55-32. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Crescent's Naomii Sprague, who almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine steals.
