Volleyball Recap: Southeast of Saline Takes a Loss

Southeast of Saline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ellsworth Bearcats. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bearcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

While Southeast of Saline ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-19.

Southeast of Saline's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Ellsworth, their victory bumped their record up to 19-5.

Southeast of Saline has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Little River on the 27th. As for Ellsworth, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against South Haven on the 27th.
