Basketball Recap: Forest Hills Skates Past Bald Eagle Area with Ease

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Forest Hills's strategy against Bald Eagle Area on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Rangers blew the Eagles out of the water with a 68-37 final score. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 43-20.

Forest Hills' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dylan Stohon, who shot 78% from the field to rack up 18 points and three steals. The game was Stohon's 28th in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Koy McGough, who went 5-for-11 on his way to 13 points and five assists.

Forest Hills has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 75.5 points this season. As for Bald Eagle Area, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
