Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Michigan Lutheran Seminary). Everything went their way against the Montrose Rams on Tuesday as they made off with  a  24-6 win. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 18 games by six  runs or more this season.
 Ally Coffey made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 14 consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate,  getting on base  in five of her six plate appearances with three  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double.
 In other batting news, Michigan Lutheran Seminary got a  massive  performance out of  Ana Graves, who  went 1-for-4 with four  runs and two  RBI. Those  four  runs gave  Graves a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Makayla Roth, who  got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with two  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double.
Michigan Lutheran Seminary is  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-9 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Montrose,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 3-13.
 Coming up, Michigan Lutheran Seminary will welcome Kingston  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Michigan Lutheran Seminary's pitchers better be ready for this one: Kingston has averaged an impressive 7.6  runs per game this season. As for Montrose, they will venture away from home to  square off against Durand  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
