Basketball Recap: Carver Vo-Tech Gets the Win

Carver Vo-Tech won the last time they faced Academy for College and Career Exploration, and David Ross did his part to make sure it happened again. The Carver Vo-Tech Bears took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging a 60-20 win over Academy for College and Career Exploration thanks in part to Ross, who went 9 of 11 on his way to 18 points and eight rebounds. Those 18 points gave him a new career-high.

Carver Vo-Tech now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Academy for College and Career Exploration, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Carver Vo-Tech didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-54 defeat against Lanham Christian on the 21st. As for Academy for College and Career Exploration, they will be taking part in a tournament against Centennial at 4:15 p.m. on December 28th.
