Soccer Game Preview: Garden Grove vs. Pacifica

The Garden Grove Argonauts will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Pacifica Mariners at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Garden Grove didn't get the result they wanted in their first match with Rancho Alamitos on Tuesday. They fell 2-0 to the Vaqueros.

Meanwhile, Pacifica had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 5-1 to Portola.

Everything went Garden Grove's way against Pacifica when the teams last played back in December of 2021, as Garden Grove made off with a 6-0 victory. Will the Argonauts repeat their success, or do the Mariners have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
