Notre Dame Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Conner Cougars. That's more bragging rights for the Pandas, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Notre Dame Academy was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-15, 25-14.

Notre Dame Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Elise Grout led the charge by getting 12 digs. Another player making a difference was Lizzy Larkins, who had 20 assists and four digs.
