Basketball Recap: Chagrin Falls Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home

Chagrin Falls's game on Saturday was all tied up 23-23 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 51-44 win over the Aquinas Knights. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Chagrin Falls' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ryan Curtiss led the charge by dropping a double-double with 12 points and 15 rebounds. Those 15 boards gave Curtiss a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Spencer Kaas, who posted six points in addition to ten assists and five rebounds.

Chagrin Falls smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Chagrin Falls' victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.2 points over those games. As for Aquinas, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-10.

Coming up, Chagrin Falls will be taking part in a tournament against Garfield at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Garfield is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.1 points per game this season. Aquinas does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
